News regarding admission rates of 2026 have been set to be announced by the Canadian Federal Government.

From previous communications from the government, there has been signs for what’s to be expected for the upcoming levels plan.
With Canada’s population reaching 41.65 million as of July 2025, it is predicted that admissions won’t exceed 416,500 in 2026. This is due to the recent elections where the Liberals assured to stabilize permanent resident admissions at less than 1% of Canada’s population annually.
These set goals are also effective for economic immigration, family reunification, and refugee and humanitarian immigration.
Furthermore, expectations for Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Program have been distributed as well, in regards to information released by the government and Prime Minister Mark Carney.
