With the seventh draw of October complete on October 27th, IRCC was able to grant 6,000 ITAs for applicants with French-language proficiency.
For candidates to be eligible for this draw, the following were required:
- A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 416
- Created an Express Entry candidate profile before 3:27 p.m., Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on September 8, 2025.
This draw was the third largest with the second and first draws happening February 19 and March 21, respectively.
Applicants from the French-language proficiency have received the most ITAs compared to other Express Entry sectors. With a total of 36,000 invitations by far, this sector takes the highest place in inviting the most amount of candidates. Due to Canada’s Official Languages Act, French language proficiency is encouraged not just in Quebec, but all around Canada.
