IRCC has announced the streams they will be clearing in 2025, settling certain PR applications’ inventory.

This news only applies to the Express Entry programs, Express Entry-aligned Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) streams, IRCC’s community pilots, and Quebec’s skilled worker pathways, where full processing will happen in 2025.
Regarding the other economic PR pathways, processing will still take place at different levels respectively. This means that only a certain part of the inventory will be cleared.
The sectors planned to be cleared entirely have been stated as the following economic PR pathways in 2025:
- Community Pilots
- The Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Enhanced PNP streams (Express Entry-aligned)
- Quebec Experience Class (PEQ)
- Quebec’s Pilot Programs
- Quebec Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ)
Sectors which will only have a portion of their total application inventory settled in 2025, are:
